Navalny’s grieving widow vows to continue his work

Despite the tragic loss of her husband, Alexei Navalny, Yulia Navalnaya has vowed to continue his work as a prominent opposition leader in Russia.

Navalny, a fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was poisoned in August 2020 and died in prison after being sentenced to more than two years in a penal colony.

Yulia Navalnaya has been a strong supporter of her husband’s efforts to expose corruption and advocate for democratic reforms in Russia. In a statement to the press, she said, “Alexei’s work must continue. We will not give up the fight for justice and freedom.”

Despite facing threats and harassment, Yulia Navalnaya remains determined to carry on her husband’s legacy and work towards a more open and democratic Russia.
